X Factor reject Alisha speaks out

Alisha Bennett says she is determined to keep on singing despite getting booted off The X Factor on Saturday night.

Alisha, 23, was voted out by the judges after finishing in the public vote's bottom two, along with girl group Hope.

"Now I've started, I just want to keep on going," said Alisha.

This week's theme was disco. Alisha performed a track called Young Hearts Run Free with roller-skating backing dancers.

"Everyone has to go and every week it gets tougher and tougher. You don't know what's going to happen," said Alisha.

"I had dreams and aspirations to go further in this competition but maybe it was just my time."
