The Girl Guiding UK Big Gig is an annual musical event.
McFly headlined the gig in Manchester this year and Press Packer Beth was there to catch all the action.
"The Girl Guides' Big Gig is held at venues around the world and usually fills each arena.
This year McFly headlined the event and thrilled the audience by playing their new single, The Heart Never Lies.
Our Guide unit was lucky enough to secure tickets at the MEN arena in Manchester.
Early start
Other bands that played the Big Gig included The Hoosiers and Kate Nash who both
gave amazing performances and made the crowd go mental.
Guide units from far away were there, even units from London who had got up at six in
the morning to attend the show!
Mesmerised
I felt sorry for McFly's Danny Jones because he was poorly.
But they still gave a thrilling show which had everyone mesmerised and singing along word by word to each track.
Tom Fletcher (lead vocals and guitarist with McFly) made the crowd sing along to
It's All About You.
The atmosphere was great!"
