Some of the world's biggest music stars will be heading to Liverpool next year for the MTV Europe Awards.
The awards bash will take place at the new Echo Arena on 6 November 2008. It's only the third time the UK has been chosen to stage the ceremony.
MTV boss Richard Godfrey said: "It's fantastic to be back in the UK and it's only natural that Liverpool should host the 15th annual Europe Music Awards."
This year's awards are due to be handed out in Munich, Germany, on 1 November.
Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance and the Foo Fighters are among the acts who'll be performing on the night.
Snoop Dogg is hosting to bash, but it's the likes of Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse and Beyonce who'll be keeping their fingers crossed to win the most awards.
