Strictly shock as Gabby goes home

Gabby and Kenny Logan

There was a huge shock on Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday, when Gabby Logan was kicked off the hit show.

The TV presenter and former gymnast had been tipped by many fans of the show as someone who could win the whole thing, but now she's been voted out.

Despite scoring a solid 30 out of 40 for her Samba, Gabby ended up in a dance off with Penny Lancaster.

And the judges decided that Gabby had to be the one to go after failing to impress them with her efforts.

Gabby's husband Kenny survived to compete for another week, even though he only scored 18 out of 40 for his dance - also a Samba.

One judge, Bruno Tonioli, said of Kenny's attempt: "You have the grace of a vacuum cleaner. It was bad."

While chief meanie Craig Revel Horwood said: "That was a complete dance disaster for me. In fact, it was grotesque in some places."

But the viewers disagreed, so next week Kenny will back again, this time dancing the Paso Doble or the Foxtrot.
