Sugababes beat Britney challenge

The Sugababes have fought off Britney Spears' comeback single, Gimme More, to stay at the top of the UK singles chart for a fourth week with About You Now.

But it wasn't all bad news for Britney who got the highest new entry at three, behind Mark Ronson's Valerie, featuring Amy Winehouse, which climbed up to two.

Goodbye Mr A by the Hoosiers is fourth, while Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand's Let Me Think About It fell three to five.

In the album chart, the Stereophonics are number one with Pull The Pin.

The Welsh rockers have knocked the Sugababes' latest release, Change, down to number two.

Eric Clapton's greatest hits are at three, while Amy Winehouse is still hovering within the top five with Black To Black climbing one to four.

The Foo Fighters complete the top five with Echoes Silence patience & Grace.
