Rhinos grapple crown from Saints

Rhinos celebrate

Leeds Rhinos have grappled the Super League crown from arch-rivals St Helens with a 33-6 Grand Final win.

The Rhinos led 8-6 at the break after a tough first-half at Old Trafford. They went ahead through Brent Webb, before James Roby hit back for Saints.

But, after the break, tries from Ali Lauitiiti and Scott Donald helped Leeds march on to victory.

It was a fairytale ending for Rhinos coach Tony Smith, who's leaving after four years at the club.

Lee Smith and Jamie Jones-Buchanan also went over for Leeds, who had finished the season second to St Helens.

Saints were looking to complete a clean sweep after victory in the World Club Championship and the Challenge Cup.
