Family fear for 'allergic' rabbit

Gizmo

A family has put up a reward for the return of a pet rabbit that is allergic to lettuce and carrots.

They're worried that three-year-old Gizmo could become seriously ill if someone tries to feed it traditional bunny grub.

The rabbit was an Easter present for Kerry Anderton, who's 10 and has autism. She is really missing her brown and white pet.

Her mum Diane is asking thieves to return it to their home near Sunderland

Autism is a disability which means the person finds it hard to communicate with others.

Kerry's mum said her daughter was devastated at Gizmo's theft: "She is now off school over this and is waking up in the middle of the night."

The family has offered a 50 reward for the rabbit's safe return.
