Celtic leave it late for SPL win

Celtic's Aiden McGeady and Gretna's Evan Horwood

Two late goals for Celtic broke the hearts of Gretna and sent the SPL champions to the top of the table.

Chris Killen and Scott McDonald both scored in the final five minutes of the match, to give Celtic a second successive win with a late, late goal.

Those strikes earned Celtic a 2-1 win, after Fabian Yantorno had struck a great free-kick to put Gretna in front.

Aberdeen won the only other game in the SPL to be played on Sunday, 4-0 against St Mirren.

Lee Miller and Scott Severin both scored twice for Aberdeen, with both of Severin's goals coming from the penalty spot.
