Girls Aloud smash UK hits record

Girls Aloud

Girls Aloud have made it into the Guinness World Records book for having the most top 10 hits in a row in the UK by a female group.

Nicola, Nadine, Cheryl, Kimberley and Sarah's latest track - Sexy! No No No - is their 16th top 10 single.

It means the girls have smashed the previous record of 11, which was held by Beyonce's old group Destiny's Child.

It's good news for Madonna too. She's the new record-holder for the most number one albums by a female artist.

The Queen of pop, who's had nine chart-topping albums so far, also took the record for making the most money per concert while on tour.

Her Confessions tour took, on average, a whopping 1.2 million per show.
