JT up for four MTV Europe awards

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake looks like having a good night at the MTV Europe Awards in November, getting four nominations.

The US singer's trophy cabinet must already be pretty full as he won four prizes at the Video Music Awards in Las Vegas earlier in September.

Amy Winehouse and Beyonce each got three nominations, as did Nelly Furtado, Rihanna and Fall Out Boy.

Loads of top stars - including Mika and the Foo Fighters - are expected to perform at the ceremony on 1 November.

The MTV Europe Awards are being held in Munich in Germany, and are being hosted by rapper Snoop Dogg.

Canadian star Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance have also bagged a trio of nominations.

This year there is also an award for the ultimate breakthrough artist in all of Europe, with James Morrison the UK star going up against acts from across the continent.
