Fresh blow to Britney's comeback

Britney Spears

Britney Spears' comeback has taken a blow after a company working with the singer decided it didn't want to.

A month ago Britney paid a management company called The Firm to help her make a success of being a singer again.

Her new album is out on 13 November and The Firm would have been in charge of making sure people knew it was coming out and helping Britney promote it.

Britney recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, but lots of experts thought she didn't do very well.

Some people said that during the performance of her new track Gimme More Britney struggled to mime in time to the music, and couldn't cope with dance moves either.

It's a difficult time for Britney, as she is in the middle of a court case in the US at the moment about who looks after her children.

The singer recently agreed a divorce with her husband and the dad of her two children, Kevin Federline.
