Dundee United up to third place

Dundee United
Dundee United have moved to third place in the Scottish Premier League with a 2-0 win against St Mirren.

The visitors didn't play well at all, and United keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski didn't have a single save to make.

Noel Hunt opened the scoring when he netter after 38 minutes, and in the second half St Mirren had Franco Miranda sent off for two bookings.

Jordan Robertson flicked in a second goal a minute after the sending off, and United continued to push forward.

Steven Robb twice hit the woodwork in the late stages and Hunt perhaps should have had a second but blazed over the bar instead.
