Lots of people in the UK recycle things like plastic bottles and newspapers, but how much does your school do?
Press Packers Bryn, Ben, Lucy and Riley got out their magnifying glasses to investigate how green their school is.
"Our mission is to reduce our carbon footprint. Here's why:
Lights and computers need electricity to work.
One of the ways we make that electricity is by burning fuel like oil and coal. When this happens a gas called carbon dioxide is created.
This gas is building up in our atmosphere.
Lots of experts say it is warming up the earth and changing our climate.
The amount of carbon we produce is called a carbon footprint.
We've come up with some tips to make your school (or home) greener:
- Switch off things to stop wasting electricity
- Special film on windows can stop rooms heating up so there is no need to switch on fans and air conditioning to cool things down
- Recycle ALL paper and plastic that you can
- Grow fruit and veg so food doesn't have to be driven to school
- Compost food waste so it doesn't need to be driven to the dump
Our school is pretty cool and we've made a start, but we could do better.

Why don't you write us a Press Pack report - and get it published on the site?!
It can be about anything that's happened in your local area - or your views on the news.
