Bad news for Doctor Who fans, the doc's taking a break and won't be back with a fifth series until 2010.
Series four is already being filmed and is due to hit our screens in spring 2008, but then there'll be a two-year wait for the next full series.
It's thought the delay is because David Tennant will be spending a lot of time acting on stage as Hamlet with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
It's not all bad, as David Tennant will still star in three specials in 2009.
But there's no word on whether he'll still be in control of the Tardis for the fifth series in 2010.
A Doctor Who spokesperson said it was "too early" to comment on whether David would be back then.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to a Christmas special featuring Kylie Minogue this year, before The Doctor returns for the fourth series with a new assistant, played by Catherine Tate.
