The Great Britain team celebrate coming third in the men's 4 x 100m relay

There was another medal for Great Britain at the World Championships in Japan - this time for the men's 4x100m relay team.

Christian Malcolm, Craig Pickering, Marlon Devonish and Mark Lewis-Francis clocked a great time of 37.90 seconds in a thrilling final.

The race was won by the United States in 37.78 with Jamaica's winning silver.

Britain's women's team finished fourth in their 4x100m final, a race also won by the US with Jamaica second.

Devonish, who finished sixth in the men's 100m final, added: "It's gone smoothly, we worked hard and it's a nice way to end the championships."

In the 4x400m relay, GB's men's and women's teams both qualified for Sunday's finals.

The team now has four medals, a gold, a silver and two bronzes.
