British pop divas Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse are going head-to-head at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
They're competing for best newcomer at the yearly showbiz ceremony, taking place in the glitzy American city of Las Vegas next month.
Amy's picked up three nominations in total. She's also in the running for female artist of the year and best video - for Rehab.
Lily and Amy are also expected to be among the performers at the event.
But Lily needs to sort out a row with American officials before that can happen.
She flew to the country this weekend, but the paperwork she needs to work there - called a visa - was taken away from her.
The singer also has an American tour planned for September. She says she's trying really hard to get a new visa.
"I want my fans to know that I will do everything I can to be back in America in September," Lily told reporters.
"I don't like letting my fans down and this is a situation that I am sure we can sort out."
