The flood water isn't clean. Ben, nine, explained: "My mum told us it was dirty and we couldn't play in it any more."

The floods have led to some families losing their water supply. Seven-year-old Jack said: "I can't have a shower because we haven't got much water."

Katie, five, had the same problem as Jack. "I haven't had any water for three days and I haven't had a wash!"

The floods have come at the same time as the summer holidays for lots of kids. Hannah, 12, said: "It's boring - we can't go out because it's either raining or flooded."

Power supplies have been cut off at some homes because of the floods. "We had to use candles and torches for lighting," said 10-year-old James.
