History lessons in England need a shake-up, according to the organisation which carries out school inspections.
The organisation - Ofsted - reckons the lessons could be improved to give kids a greater understanding of how the world works.
It says some teachers are focussing on certain points in history, and not giving kids an idea of how everything fits together.
It's also worried that kids don't want to study history when they're older.
The BBC visited one school where history lessons are made really interesting, with dressing up and lots of things to touch and look at.
Kids there were really into history.
One said: "I like the Great Fire of London and some kings and queens."
Another added: "It's fun to learn about the past and what happened then."
