A powerful typhoon has hit Japan's southern island of Okinawa causing widespread damage.
Typhoon Man-Yi is the worst typhoon to hit Japan since records began more than 50 years ago. Torrential rains and high winds of up to 160kmp have uprooted trees and damaged lots of power lines.
At least three people have been killed and dozens have been injured in the bad weather.
Thousands of people who were living in the path of the storms have had to leave their homes.
And rescuers have been working hard to help people to safety as the flood waters continue to rise.
The typhoon is expected to move along the coast of the south-eastern island of Shikoku before moving out into the Pacific Ocean.
