Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq has confirmed newspaper rumours that she is to leave the long-running CBBC show.
She made the announcement on Thursday after loads of viewers emailed the programme to ask what was going on.
Konnie, who is one of Blue Peter's longest-serving presenters, said she was leaving, but not until early 2008.
"You're going to have to put up with me for a while longer yet," she said. "It's a long way off and there's lots happening before then."
Konnie will have been a Blue Peter presenter for just over 10 years when she leaves, making her the show's longest-serving female presenter.
She said it had been the best job in the world and she wanted to go out on a high.
"Obviously when the time comes for my last show I will be really sad but I will have been here for over 10 years, which is a Blue Peter record, and I think it will be high time for someone else to have a go."
