Volcano erupts into Pacific Ocean

Lava from the Kilauea Volcano

A volcano on Hawaii's Big Island has erupted again, spewing streams of red hot lava into the Pacific Ocean.

The lava has been bubbling over from the Kilauea Volcano for days, creating new land as it hits the water and grows solid off the coast.

Kilauea is the youngest volcano on the island and one of Hawaii's most active - it has been erupting almost continuously since January 1983.

Shots of the lava look dramatic, but experts say no-one is in any danger.
