Plane gets stuck in busy road

The abandoned plane in Mumbai

THE BIGGER PICTURE
No one knows who the plane belongs to

A disused plane has been abandoned in the middle of a busy road in India after its driver got lost.

The Boeing 737 was being driven through Mumbai when the driver took a wrong turn and ended up facing a road that was too low to get the plane under.

So he decided to leave it where it was and hasn't been seen since!

The plane used to belong to Air Sahara, but no-one is taking responsibility for it now and people living in the city want to know when it will be moved.

Some residents are really angry that nothing's being done to move it, while others think it's a good tourist attraction.

The plane, which has had its engine, wings and tail removed, was being transported to Delhi on a giant trailer before it was abandoned.
