The world's newest and joint largest passenger ship has arrived in Southampton. It weighs 160,000 tonnes which is the same as 32,000 elephants!

The world's newest and largest passenger ship, Liberty of the Seas, has arrived in Southampton. It weighs 160,000 tonnes which is the same as 32,000 elephants!

Newsround's Laura went along to have a look around and even got to meet the captain.

The ship, which at 338 metres in length is longer than three football pictures, even has its own surf pool!

This surfer decided to try it out for size and caught the perfect wave.

The massive ship has 15 levels - one of them contains a climbing wall.

The Liberty of the Seas will sail close to America and the Caribbean. Another massive ship, called Independence of the Seas, will operate from the UK's south coast when it's launched next year.
