Kids needed to talk about life

Kids in a playground

Children from all over the UK are being asked what's important to them and what they think makes a good childhood.

A charity called the Children's Society is behind the massive study to find out what issues you're facing and what changes could make things better.

Newsround's also helping out, so over the next few months we'll be asking you different questions about what matters to you and what you do and don't like.

Your answers will help adults find ways to improve children's lives.

The study is called the Good Childhood Inquiry and is taking place for most of the year. The results will be published in 2008.

As well as having your say here, you can also find out more on the Children's Society website by clicking on the link on the right hand side of this page.
