Expensive piano damaged in fall

It wasn't music to their ears when men moving an expensive piano to a new home heard it crash to the floor and suffer lots of damage.

The heavy concert grand piano, worth 45,000, was being taken to Devon when it slipped as it was being unloaded and fell more than 2.5m onto a grass bank.

Owner John Adie said he wasn't sure the piano could be played again.

The piano, which has more than 10,000 moving parts, is being checked by experts to see how bad the damage is.
