Super gran sky-dives for charity

Skydiving granny

Hilda Pearson is one fearless 89-year-old woman - she's raised cash for charity by jumping out of a plane flying at 3,000 metres above sea level!

The Australian granny was raising money for a cancer unit at her local hospital by making her first skydive.

The plucky woman wasn't scared - her only worry was losing her false teeth!

Skydiving isn't the end of Hilda's adventures - she plans to take a helicopter trip, go ballooning and learn to swim in the future.

She had the support of her family on her big jump, as seven other people came with her.

But she's got a way to go before being the oldest person to jump out of a plane.

That record's held by an Australian man who skydived when he was 101.
