After months of waiting, UK gamers will finally be able to get their hands on a PlayStation 3 on 23 March 2007.
Sony announced it will release the bigger 60GB version of the console in Europe then - with the 20GB model to follow at a later date.
When the console went on sale in Japan and the US in November 2006, some fans queued for days and lots of places sold out in just a few hours.
The console, which lets you play other gamers online, will set you back £425.
Sony has said that one million of the consoles will be made available in Europe on the launch date, with around 250,000 going on sale in the UK.

The PlayStation 3 is one of a new generation of consoles, along with Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii, both of which are already on sale.
Its release was delayed after makers had a problem with producing enough parts for the machine's high-tech Blu-ray disc drives.
