Ferrari's Felipe Massa has taken pole position in Sunday's French Grand Prix.
He produced a storming final session to beat British Formula One sensation Lewis Hamilton into second place.
Massa's team-mate Kimi Raikkonen was third but world champion Fernando Alonso's McLaren had some mechanical problems and ended up in 10th position.
Brazilian driver Massa will start in first place on the grid after he clocked one minute 15.034 seconds, just 0.070secs ahead of Hamilton.
