Bindi Irwin has said she wants to be just like her dad in her first big US TV interview since he died.
The nine-year-old daughter of Australian wildlife expert Steve Irwin has appeared on a chat show with her mum Terri as part of a US tour.
Dressed in khaki trousers and carrying a lizard, Bindi said she wanted to carry on his work with animals.
She told chat show host Ellen Degeneres: "I want to be exactly like him. I want him to be proud."
Bindi is in the US to chat about her TV show Bindi, the Jungle Girl. She and her mum are also there to help launch Australia Week in LA and New York.

Bindi's dad Steve was famous for making TV shows that saw him get really close to dangerous wild animals.
He died last September after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray during the filming of a programme called Ocean's Deadliest.
