Take That were bumped down one place to number two with Patience, while McFly were the highest new entry at three with Sorry's Not Good Enough.

Girls Aloud were another new entry at four with I Think We're Alone Now.

McFly are at number three
Over in the album chart, Take That still had something to celebrate with their album Beautiful World still the top seller.

Westlife were at two with The Love Album and Oasis completed the top three with their best-of compilation Stop The Clocks.
