Robin Hood gets a second series

Jonas Armstrong as Robin Hood

Fans of Robin Hood will be pleased to hear that there's going to be another series of the BBC TV show.

The programme, starring Jonas Armstrong as Robin, started on Saturday nights in October and lots of you loved it.

Not everyone agreed, but the BBC said it was delighted to be making a second series. The new series will be 13 episodes long and starts in 2007.

All of the main actors are back playing characters including Maid Marian and the Sheriff of Nottingham

We asked you to tell us what you thought of the show back in October and here's what you said:

Rachel, 11, from Daventry, said : "It was amazing! Fantastic acting from the gorgeous Jonas Armstrong! It was an epic adventure with action, betrayal and just a hint of romance. I can't wait until next Saturday!"

'Really good'

And Sally, 11, who's from Nottingham, told us: "I normally would criticise anything to do with Robin Hood, as I am from Nottingham, but this was really good!"

But not all of you were happy. Josh, 11, from Wales, said: "I thought Robin Hood was really boring. I think I'll be watching X Factor next week."
