Murray's hair-raising web vote

Andy Murray

Top tennis player Andy Murray is asking his fans for help - on what to do with his hair!

The 19-year-old hasn't visited the hairdresser for 18 months and has set up a vote on his website to get advice on how to get his curly mop styled.

Andy - who's ranked 19th in the world - said he had cut it a couple of times with nail scissors.

He said: "I never brush it when I get up in the morning, and I never put any products in it. I do wash it, though."

The British number one added: "I genuinely haven't been to a proper hairdresser since around Wimbledon last year."

On the website, fans can choose between:

  • short at the back, messy on top
  • same short length all over
  • trimmed and thinned but longish
  • cut it himself (again)

Loads of supporters have been sending in suggestions and the most popular seems to be having it the same short length all over.

Or perhaps he should have it dyed yellow to look like a tennis ball??
