Danielle lives in the countryside and doesn't have very much money to do things.
It means she feels left out and has to play near the river, which is full of rubbish.
Her local council have recently cleaned up the river - but she still wants a youth club so there's more to do.
If you live in a village and don't have much money, here are some suggestions to make things a little easier:
- Every area has a youth service. Your local council will have the details. They may even help you set up your own youth club. If not:
- Find a local youth centre or club nearby where you can make friends
- If the youth club or centre is in another village, see if the club can help you with transport to and from the club
- There maybe an after-school club that you can join in with. Talk to your teachers about it
