Danielle's story

Danielle is 11. She lives in a council house in a village in Somerset and her family have almost no money.

Danielle's mum has to save up all year to buy Christmas presents.

There are no clubs or activities for children in the village and travelling anywhere is expensive.

It can mean some children get up to mischief like throwing rubbish into the river.
