Lizo up for kids' film awards

Harry Potter will take on Wallace and Gromit, and Newsround's Lizo will be battling it out against Sam and Mark at tonight's Children's Bafta Awards.

Lizo has been nominated in the best presenter category and will find out if he's won at the London ceremony.

The Baftas are the biggest film awards in Britain. They're run by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

There are two film awards - one decided by the people in charge and the other voted for by film fans younger than 16.

Lizo Mzimba could win best presenter

Lizo was nominated for the special programme made in October 2005 about the survivors of Hurricane Katrina in the US.

He'll have to beat Sam and Mark who were nominated for Level Up, Holly Willoughby for Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown and Stephen Mulhern for Tricky TV.

There could also be a furry winner when the awards are handed out on 26 November in London, as The Basil Brush Show is up for best entertainment award.
