Game On - an exhibition at London's Science Museum - celebrates the history of gaming. When your parents were kids, this was about as snazzy as it got for gamers!
Consoles aren't what they used to be. This is an Atari console from 1977. Visitors to the exhibition can test out the old-fashioned kit!
And that's just what our Press Packer Sonny did. Find out how he got on by clicking the link to his report at the top of this page
Sonny filmed a Press Pack for Newsround. He had to keep his cool while playing games in front of the camera. Phew!
It seems that gamers were really smart in 1977. These days, you're more likely to find gamers in jeans and trainers!
Control pads were a lot more basic in the old days. Only one button to think about here!
Another ancient control pad - still, there are a few more buttons and options for gameplay
Nice colour! We're sure it was the height of fashion at the time...
Here's someone you might recognise. It's Mario - he's played an important role in the history of gaming
The Game On exhibition has lots of colourful displays, as well as weird and wonderful games. It's open until 25 February, 2007
