The action-packed adventures of Robin Hood have proved a big hit, pulling in 8.2m viewers on Saturday.
The new BBC series beat Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway by a million, making it the most-watched show.
A breakdown of the viewing figures showed that loads of kids tuned into both shows, although Ant and Dec's show proved slightly more popular with them.
The Robin Hood story has been updated for the show so the characters wear combat trousers instead of tights.
It stars Jonas Armstrong as famous outlaw Robin and Lily Alllen's dad, Keith, as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
