Break-in at Peter Crouch's house

Crouch scored an amazing goal

While Peter Crouch was putting on a spectacular performance for Liverpool on Wednesday, his home in Cheshire was being burgled.

It's thought that valuable stuff was taken and his sofas were wrecked during the break-in.

Police said that the footballer didn't want them to release details of what had happened.

Crouch scored twice in Liverpool's 3-2 Champions League match against Turkish side Galatasaray at Anfield.

He scored from an amazing scissors kick that really impressed many footie fans.

The 6ft 7ins striker, who also plays for England and is famous for his celebratory robot dance, lives in a posh area called Alderley Edge, favoured by many footie stars.
