Speed-eater bags lobster record

A Japanese man has smashed the world record for eating a massive 41 lobster rolls in the fastest time ever.

Takeru Kobayashi scoffed the fishy snacks in 10 minutes, beating the old record of 22 rolls in that time.

The 28-year-old is famous for holding the world record for gobbling 53 hotdogs in 12 minutes - and for winning the competition five years in a row.

After the lobster contest Mr Kobayashi said: "The lobster meat falls apart so it's much more difficult to eat."

Mr Kobayashi, who only weighs 65kg, also holds the world record for eating 100 pork buns in 12 minutes.
