The BBC has said it will delay the screening of the new series of Top Gear until their presenter, Richard Hammond, has recovered from a car crash.
The 36-year-old was injured in a high-speed car accident during filming for the motor show last Wednesday.
Richard's family said he is now making "excellent progress" after moving to a normal hospital ward.
His wife, Mindy, said he had been given thousands of 'get well' cards, emails and flowers from fans.
She said her husband had received so many flowers that he was worried about being teased by Top Gear co-stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
So he is asking well-wishers who want to send gifts to consider donating to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance instead.
It flew Richard to hospital following the crash on an airfield near York and his wife Mindy said she thinks that without it, Richard would not be recovering so quickly.
Since the accident motoring fans have raised £130,000 for the charity after setting up a webpage where people can donate. The money includes a single gift of £50,000.
