Do you worry about terrorism?

|
A survey of more than 1,000 kids in the UK has found that most of you think you're learning loads in lessons but reckon celebs are a waste of space.
The survey about in living in Britain by a kids' newspaper also says children don't think Tony Blair is doing a good job as Prime Minister, and nine out of 10 of you lot are proud to be British?
The kids in the survey were asked loads of questions about things like the Royal Family, the war in Iraq and whether they were healthy or not?
So what do you think it's like living in Britain? Are you proud to be British, is school really that cool?
Some of the questions the survey asked are on the right, e-mail and let us know what you think of them!

I wish I lived in Britain. All the books I read about Britain make it sound so great.
Mary, 13, USA
I don't like Britain at all. It's dirty, there's crime everywhere, it's expensive, the government is in turmoil, hospitals closing down, obesity, bullying, terrorism, war, poverty, climate change, our native endangered wildlife species... Where does it end?
Rhianna, 12, Bognor
I quite like Britain, but the soggy weather is rubbish and I'm now scared of flying because of terrorism, and with the government meddling with my school dinners is really annoying!
Taylor, 12, Rochdale
I love living in Britain but I don't like the really badly built-up areas of Britain where there's no countryside AT ALL.
Emily, 13, Maidstone
I love living in Britain because it is unique. And once you get out of the built up areas it is a wonderful place but I think we made a wrong decision by going into the war in Iraq with America.
Francesca, 11, Ilford
I think living in Britain is great! Although there is a lot of racism about, which is obviously unfair, but Britain is overall a great place to live! Tony Blair should quit though as he doesn't do anything for our country!
Lily, 14, Cheshire
I'm SO not proud being British. The weather is awful, there's litter everywhere, stabbings every week and the football team hasn't won any tournament in like 50 years so enough said!
Dave, 13, London
I love Britain because of the clothes shops!!!!!!!!
Kayleigh, 11, Budleigh
I think London is alright, apart from the terrorism and racism after 7/7!!!
Neshat, 12, London
I love Britain, although I wish that we did not care about celebrities and superficial things like that. I love the fact that we have different accents and that people are generally polite. I think that Tony Blair has ruined a lot of British culture by dividing people's thoughts and views. I just hope that Britain does not copy everything that America does so we can have some individuality.
Ellie, 13, Surrey
Living in Britain is quite cool and I don't really mind the rainy weather but I think the decisions Tony Blair makes are rubbish, because he banned hunting and there was no need to.
Chloe, 10, Devon
I like to say I'm proud to be British but I think we're too obsessed with celebrities and I don't think Tony Blair is doing a good job at all.
Rachael, 14, Bolton
I worry slightly about crime and terrorism. But this doesn't mean I'm not proud to be British! I just wish there were no wars and less crime.
Vanessa, 14, Scotland
I'm really proud to be British and I think we should be proud of our country.
Chloe, 10, Salisbury
I'm proud to be British but I think Tony Blair should do better because the war is getting even worse which makes the world even unhappier!
Ellie, 11, Weston-Super-Mare
I love being British, and proud to! I don't care that us kids are apparently the 'unhappiest', I certainly am not!
Jessica, 12, Surrey
I am proud to be British, but I think there isn't much being done to help people suffering from poverty in third world countries. I also don't like Tony Blair that much.
Emily, 12, Newcastle-under-Lyme
I love being British because we are always helping people and we all stick together especially after 2005 bombings.
Joseph, 9, Muswell Hill
I love being British and everything about Britain. I love football and the traditionally British fish and chips.
David, 12, Leighton
I think Britain needs more police and I don't like the weather but it is a very good country.
Jack, 8, Royton
I think kids in Britain are too obsessed with celebrities.
Jess, 13, London
I really like living in Britain! it's fab because we get a very good education and I feel safe in my house and on the street. But I think we should care more for animals as they are just as much a part of this world as we are! And we don't care enough about old people either.
Ashley, 11, London
I think living in Britain is awesome because it has so many opportunities and is better than other countries
Noorbahar, 11, Walsall
I am proud to be British because I was born here. Britain has lots of good qualities but I think the country made a bad decision in getting involved with the wars. Altogether it has lots of good thing that include school and getting involved with children and helping them.
Samantha, 13, Carnoustie
Living in Britain is OK because we get a good education, most of us are fit and healthy and we're not living in poverty unlike some countries in the world. But I'd still prefer to live in the USA where most of my family lives.
Zoe, 12, Southampton
I'm happy to be British but there is too much crime and I think there should be more police!
Alex, 13, Newcastle
I feel lucky to live in Britain. Although I complain about school, I'm lucky to be getting an education, and the healthcare is great compare with some parts of Africa. So yes, I feel lucky, and happy!
Kellie, 12, London
I'm proud to be British because I was born and raised in England and this will always be my home.
Geo, 14, Tallington
I feel proud to live in Britain because it is a modern country with views and a new economy, and we are environmentally friendly.
Gareth, 12, Cardiff
I'm proud to be British. We have great sports teams and a good education, although I'm not happy on the fact that we're not a very healthy nation!
Olivia, 13, Stratford
I'm not proud to be British because I don't think we do enough for poor people and poor countries like Ethiopia.
Matt, 12, Stoke on Trent
I'm very proud to be English. I get a very good education, but I do worry about terrorism and street crime. I'm very proud of English sport and I don't think we are racist, as we live in a very multicultural country. I have a healthy diet and British TV is also good, one of the best in the world!
Charli, 12, Leicester
I am extremely proud to be British and I think Britain is an amazing place.
Ellie, 13, Leeds
Britain is great but I do not see why people complain about the rainy weather as I actually think it's alright!
James, 12, Horndean
We do get a good education but they should make the National Curriculum more flexible giving us chance to 'think outside the box' and make lessons more fun so we learn better.
Sian, 13, Coalville
I'm proud of being British but I'm not only British, I'm Asian too! I don't like that the amount of racism since the bombs in London has got higher. I'm upset about it!
Mina, 13, London
I am British and proud of it. But I think that Tony Blair is running the country into the ground and as soon as I am old enough I want to move!
Kate, 12, London
I am very proud of living in Britain as I was born here and all of my family is in Britain.
Natasha, 11, Wellingborough
Britain has its problems but it's getting better all the time. I think people need to look at the bigger picture. I feel safe in this country as it probably has the smartest army in the world. I love Britain, say it loud and proud!
Dave, 14, Gloucester
I think that Tony Blair isn't doing a good job and so he should go soon instead of in a year!
Nicola, 13, Stoke
I am really proud to be British - the only thing that could be better are the football teams!
Miriam, 11, Epsom
I think the schools are really good and we are very lucky but I also think the actions of the Prime Minister are horrendous and there is no excuse for it!
Erima, 14, London
I think living in the
Britain is alright but the worst part about it is the weather!
Catherine, 13, Crawley
I think Britain is rubbish and so me and my family moved to Australia.

I'm proud to be British because I like the way the country is run and the fact that we have our own style.
Maria, 13, Surrey
One ex-UK resident told me that her UK home is horrible because it looks like squashed building so I think living in Britain might be horrid.

Chantelle, 11, London
I think in Britain most of us get a good education. I think it's okay living in Britain - it's not bad really! I have never really thought of being proud of being British, but I guess I am!
Jordan, 12, Reading
School's okay at the moment, but I don't really care what the Prime Minister does, it doesn't make a difference to me.
Simon, 11, Stoke
