In pictures: NY kids remember Sept 11

Milah, 8: "I have come here to see what the site is like now. I was sad when it collapsed. In the future I'd like to see the Freedom Tower and see happy people."

Bianca, 9: "It's really important to come here as lots of people died. It's good to see the start of the Freedom Tower so people can move on."

Graham, 12: "This was a huge event for New York and I think it's important to come to Ground Zero to see this."

Joseph, 9: "I've come here to remember those who died. I can't imagine what it must have been like if my relatives had been up there."

Katie, 12: "I think everyone should know what happened. I hope there will be a permanent memorial as a reminder of the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for strangers."
