Allergies 'gone in 10 years'

Sneezing woman

If you're one of the many people who suffers from an allergy, there's good news, as scientists reckon they could be close to solving the problem.

The experts say they're about 10 years away from coming up with an injection to beat allergies.

That would be great news for the one in 70 people with an allergy which keeps them away from things like nuts.

Some people are so allergic that the problem could kill them, although this is very rare.

The scientists say they should be able to beat things like asthma or hay fever first, and then come up with a solution for food allergies.
