Mystery surrounds how information about the sequel to kids' classic Peter Pan found its way to an American newspaper.
The plot of Peter Pan In Scarlet was a secret, but somehow The New York Times has printed stuff that only the people involved with the book would know.
The book's publishers have issued a statement saying they're "curious" to find out what happened.
But they added that the article revealed only "a few new details" so the book should still surprise readers.
Peter Pan was written by JM Barrie, who died in 1937.
Geraldine McCaughrean, who has penned 130 books, was chosen to write the long-awaited sequel, which is coming out on 5 October.
The London-born author has won the Whitbread Children's Book Of The Year three times as well as lots of other honours.
