Hundreds of fans turned up to greet the star-studded cast of teenage spy movie Stormbreaker at the premiere of the film in London's Leicester Square.
Many of them were there to see 16-year-old Alex Pettyfer, who plays the lead role of Alex Rider.
The film is based on Anthony Horowitz's best-selling book of the same name.
The author told reporters that he was inspired by Potter writer JK Rowling. He said: "Without her, there would be no Stormbreaker. I owe her a debt."
Alex was picked from hundreds of hopefuls to play the part, which is being billed as the biggest teen role since Dan Radcliffe was cast as Harry Potter.
His co-stars include Ewan McGregor, Alicia Silverstone, Bill Nighy, Damian Lewis and Mickey Rourke.
Ewan, who plays Alex Rider's uncle, said his young co-star would be able to cope with his new-found celebrity.
"He's got a very wise head on his shoulders, so he doesn't need any advice from me," said the Star Wars actor.
