Press Pack Reports: Your Reports

I interviewed Superman!

Is it Superman? No, it's Press Packer Sam
The premiere of Superman Returns was an action-packed event in London's Leicester Square.

Press Packer Sam won our competition to go on the red carpet and interview the stars of the film.

"I got the chance to report for Newsround from the Superman Returns premiere in London.

I'm a real Superman fan and have seen all the films and read the comics, so I was looking forward to meeting the new man of steel myself!

There were crowds and crowds of people gathered in Leicester Square to be the first to see the stars of the new film.

Some people had dressed up as superheroes, whilst loads of others had Superman t-shirts on and signs.

Dressing up

The atmosphere was electric and the fans who had all gathered were cheering everything - even me!

We recorded a few things for the camera, including me dressed up in a Superman costume!

I had to pretend I'd done Superman's trick of changing in the phone box, going into it in my normal clothes and coming out as superman himself!

Down to earth

Then I joined the press pack who were crammed into an area waiting to interview the actors and director.

I was nervous and excited when it came to actually interviewing the stars of the film, but they were all really nice and down to earth people.

I asked Brandon how he felt the first time he put on the famous suit, and if he had ever imagined when he was young that he would one day play Superman.

He said that he used to practise flying by jumping off his bed!

Worth watching

I then went in to watch the film.

It was really strange to be watching a movie in the SAME ROOM as the people who were in it and Bryan Singer who was the director.

It was everything I expected and more.

The special effects are amazing and everyone cheered like mad at the end of the film.

It's definitely worth watching!"
