In the third series of Doctor Who the Doctor will have a new assistant called Martha Jones
Martha will be played by Freema Agyeman, 27, who has also appeared in Casualty and The Bill
The actress is due to start filming with David Tennant (the Doctor) for the third series in Cardiff this summer
Doctor Who makers have described the pair as a "sensational combination"
After Freema was revealed as the Doctor's assistant she said: "I've been keeping this secret from my friends for months. It's been driving me mad."
And here's Freema dressed as her character Martha. Along with her new pal the Doctor, and the Tardis of course!
It looks like Martha will be a pretty savvy character - her first costume includes a tight, red leather jacket, a spiky hairdo and lots of attitude!
