Scottish star Colin Montgomerie missed out on a first ever major win after an amazing final day at the US Open.
Montgomerie - who has never won one of golf's four major titles - looked like winning the title until he took six shots on the par-four 18th hole.
That meant he finished the tournament at the Winged Foot course in New York on six-over-par, one behind the winner.
Australian golfer Geoff Ogilvy took the title, ahead of US left-hander Phil Mickelson, also on six-over-par.
Amazingly Mickelson, who has won the last two majors, also took a six on the 18th hole to throw away his chance of victory.
Ireland's Padraig Harrington finished in fifth place on seven-over-par, one shot better than the next best-placed Briton Kenneth Ferrie.
