A dog was hailed a hero after he came to the rescue of his eight-year-old owner - just like in the film Lassie.
Nye Thomas, from Swansea broke both his arms when he plummeted 9m into a stream after falling off a rope swing at the bottom of his garden.
Realising he was badly injured, Nye called to his dog Bud who let him wrap its lead around its body then pulled him up the steep bank to safety.
The loyal pooch then barked to alert Nye's parents as it dragged him home.
The Swansea schoolboy was rushed to hospital for X-rays and now has both arms in plaster.
Nye's father Richard praised Bud's loyalty. He said: "You hear about dogs helping people but until it happens to you, you don't release how grateful you are to have good pets."

The black and white border collie and labrador cross is now getting loads of well-earned attention from friends, family and well-wishers.
Mr Thomas said: "All the family members who have come up here seem to have given more treats to the dog than they have to the children to say thank you.
"We are very grateful to Bud."
