Ballet boy wins top school place

Henry Perkins dancing with female partner
A teenage boy has become only the second British dancer ever to gain a place at the Bolshoi Ballet - one of the world's best ballet schools.

Henry Perkins, who is 15 years old, will soon have to pack his suitcases and move to Russia, where the prestigious school is based.

He won the opportunity to train with top ballet stars at an audition in Russia's capital city, Moscow.

The real-life Billy Elliot said: "I can't believe I got in!"

It'll cost Henry's family the 60,000 for him complete the course over several years - so they're looking for sponsors to help out with his funding.

Once he gets there he'll have to learn Russian so that he can understand what his dance teachers are saying!

Henry said: "It's one of the best schools in the world. Since I first heard of the Bolshoi I've wanted to move to Russia to train with them. It's a dream come true."
